Registration for the National Lifeguard course from July 8 to 12, 2024

Prerequisites

  • Be at least aged 15 YEARS OLD AT THE FINAL EXAM
  • Hold the Bronze Cross certificate
  • Hold the First Aid – General/AED or Aquatic Emergency Care/AED certificate
  • For the Water Park option: hold the National Lifeguard – Swimming Pool certificate
  • For the oceanic beach option: hold the National Lifeguard – Continental Beach certificate

Attendance
It is essential to take part in all courses, because the instructor evaluates candidates throughout the session (continuous assessment) and the National Lifeguard certificate is recognized in provincial regulations as a legal certification to practice as a lifeguard.
